Converter Housing Removal

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution Safety Glasses Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the torque converter housing bolts.
2. Lightly tap the torque converter housing.
3. Remove the torque converter housing.




4. Remove the metal gasket.
5. Remove the paper gasket.
6. Remove the oil filter bolt and the oil filter.




7. Remove the baffle plate bolts and the baffle plate.




8. Remove the line pressure measurement plug.
