Front Bumper Fascia Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement Service and Repair .

2.Remove the 4 upper push-in retainers across the tor of the fascia.

Warning:Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
Danger:To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
3.Reposition the front halves of the front wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .





4.Disconnect the front bumper fascia electrical harness to body front electrical harness connector (1).





5.Loosen the front bumper fascia to front fender retaining bolts (1) approximately four turns.

6.Push the front bumper fascia to front fender retaining bolts (1) upwards to disengage them from the front fender.





7.Disengage the front fascia to fender bolts (3) and nuts (2) from the keyhole slots in the front fenders.

8.Move the front bumper fascia (4) down away from the front fender (1) disengaging the front bumper fascia datum pin (6) from the front fender datum hole (5).

9.Disengage the front bumper fascia from the front bumper fascia support bracket. Repeat for opposite side.

10.With the aid of an assistant, remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Note:When installing the front bumper fascia to the vehicle make sure the front air deflector seats securely into the front bumper fascia.

1.Transfer parts as needed.

2.With the aid of an assistant, position the front bumper fascia to the vehicle.

3.Push the front bumper fascia towards the vehicle making sure it securely engages onto the front bumper facial support bracket tabs.





4.Align the front bumper fascia (4) to the front fender (1).

5.Engage the front bumper fascia datum pin (6) into the front fender datum hole (5).

6.Install the front bumper fascia to front fender retaining bolts (3) and nuts (2).

Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .





7.Tighten the front bumper fascia to front fender retaining bolts (1) and tighten to10 N �m (89 lb in).





8.Install the front bumper fascia (1) to front air deflector retaining screws (2) and tighten to3 N �m (27 lb in).





9.Connect the front bumper fascia electrical harness to body front electrical harness connector (1).

10.Install the front wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
