Steering Column Switch Module Overview, through 10.09
1 - Steering Column Combination Switch (E595)
• Bolts securing the steering column combination switch to the steering column, 10 Nm.
• The individual switches of steering column combination switch are combined into one unit and cannot be disassembled further.
• Can be checked with the steering column electronic systems control module (J527) output diagnostic test mode.
2 - Windshield Wiper Switch
• Part of the steering column combination switch, refer to => Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), through 10.09
• Can be checked with the steering column electronic systems control module (J527) output diagnostic test mode.
3 - Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring (F138)
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring F138, through 10.09 ] Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring F138, through 10.09.
4 - Steering Angle Sensor
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Steering Angle Sensor G85, through 10.09 ] Steering Angle Sensor G85, through 10.09.
5 - Cruise Control Switch (E45)
• Part of the steering column combination switch (E595) => Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), through 10.09
• Can be checked with the steering column electronic systems control module (J527) output diagnostic test mode.
6 - Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527)
• Can be checked with output diagnostic test mode, refer to => [ Steering Column Switch Module, through 10.09 ] Steering Column Switch Module, through 10.09.
7 - Bolt (T7)
8 - Turn Signal Switch (E2)
• Part of the steering column combination switch (E595) => Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), through 10.09
• Can be checked with the steering column electronic systems control module (J527) output diagnostic test mode.
