• Component location: In left front wheel housing behind wheel housing liner

• Below intake manifold

1. Turbocharger recirculating valve (N249) (green connector)

2. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve ( N112) (brown connector)

• The removed intake manifold is shown from underneath.

• Check the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve (N112) in "Guided Fault Finding".

• At front right in engine compartment below the longmember.

• Check the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor ( V101) in "Guided Fault Finding".

• 3-pin relay carrier in E-box plenum chamber

1. Motronic engine control module (J220)

2. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Relay (J299 )

3. Motronic engine control module (ECM) power supply relay (J271)

4. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Fuse (S130 )

• Check the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Relay ( J299) in "Guided Fault Finding".
