Ignition System Assembly Overview





1 Knock Sensor (KS) 1 (G61) and Knock Sensor (KS) 2 (G66)

• Contacts gold plated

2 Ignition coil with power output stage ((N70, N127, N291, N292))

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Ignition Coils with Power Output Stages ] Ignition Coils With Power Output Stages

• To remove, use the ignition coil puller (T40039 )

3 Spark plug

• 30 Nm

• Removing and installing,

4 Bolt

• 20 Nm

• Tightening specifications affect function of Knock Sensors (KS)

5 Bolt

• 10 Nm

6 Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor (G40)

• Contacts gold plated

7 O-ring

• If damaged, replace O-ring
