Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove wiper arms.
2. Remove cowl panel.
3. Disconnect blower motor electrical connector and vent tube.
4. Remove blower motor retaining screws.






5. Remove fan retaining nut from blower shaft through plenum opening while holding the fan from the engine compartment.
6. Remove fan from blower motor while removing blower motor from vehicle.

Installation

1. Hold fan through plenum opening.
2. Install blower motor to vehicle while installing fan to blower motor.
3. Install fan retaining nut to blower motor shaft through plenum opening.
4. Install blower motor retaining screws.
5. Connect electrical connector and vent tube.
6. Install cowl panel.
7. Install wiper arms.
