Power Locks: Description and Operation

The power door lock system has an actuator in each door which actuates the lock through a linkage. The system is actuated by a control switch on each door. All doors lock and unlock at the same time from any control switch or manually from each door in the conventional manner. Each actuator has an internal circuit breaker which may require one to three minutes to reset. The actuator is a serviceable part of the lock assembly.
