REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper: Removal Procedure:

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the push-in retainers (2) retaining the rear bumper fascia (1) to the body (1).
3. Remove the rear wheelhouse extensions.

4. Remove the bolt retaining the rear bumper fascia at the wheelhouse opening.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Open the rear compartment lid.
7. Remove the rear compartment sill plate.
8. Remove the rear compartment side trim panels.
9. Remove the bolts retaining the rear bumper fascia to the quarter panels.

Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper: Removal Procedure:

10. Remove the nuts (2) retaining the rear bumper fascia (1) to the body.
11. Remove the rear bumper fascia (1) from the body.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the rear bumper fascia (1) to the body.
2. Install the nuts (2) to retain the rear bumper fascia (1) to the body.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper: Installation Procedure:

3. Install the bolts to retain the rear bumper fascia to the quarter panels.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the rear compartment side trim panels.
5. Install the rear compartment sill plate.
6. Close the rear compartment lid.
7. Raise and support the vehicle.
8. Install the bolt retaining the rear bumper fascia at the wheelhouse opening.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

9. Install the rear wheelhouse extensions.
10. Install the push-in retainers (2) retaining the rear bumper fascia (1) to the body (1).
11. Lower the vehicle.
