Removal Procedure

Tools Required
J 39500 A/C Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging System

1. Recover the refrigerant from the system.





2. Remove the service fitting from the line.

Installation Procedure

Tools Required
J 39400-A Electronic Halogen Leak Detector

1. Lube O-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.





2. Install the service fitting to the line.

Tighten
Tighten service fitting to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).

3. Recharge the refrigerant system.
4. Leak test the A/C system.
