OIL LIFE MONITOR
The engine oil life index can be reset with a scan tool and with the reset function of the DIC. The DIC can reset engine oil life only to 100 percent. A scan tool can reset engine oil life in 10 percent increments.
The transaxle fluid life index can also be reset with the reset function of the DIC


ENGINE OIL LIFE MONITOR RESETTING PROCEDURE
After changing engine oil, follow this procedure to reset the Engine Oil Life Monitor:
1. Turn the ignition to RUN, but don't start the engine.

2. Press the INFO buffon on the driver information center (DIC) switch to view the DIC menu choices, stop on the XX% ENGINE OIL LIFE message.

3. Press and hold the INFO RESET buffon on the DIC switch until the XX% ENGINE OIL LIFE message changes to 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.

4. Turn the ignition to OFF.
