SERVICE PORTS REPLACEMENTTOOLS REQUIRED
J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the service fitting from the line.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Lubricate O-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the service fining to the line.
Tighten
Tighten the fitting to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).
3. Recharge the A/C system.
4. Leak test the fittings of the component using the J 39400-A.
