Vibration Dampener Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting
3. Remove the exhaust pipe lower hanger bolts to gain access to the dampener bolts.
4. Remove the two dampener bolts (1).
5. Remove the dampener.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the dampener on the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the two dampener bolts (1).
^ Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the exhaust pipe lower hanger bolts.
