Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement (CTS-V)

Removal Procedure

Notice: To prevent equipment damage, never connect or disconnect the wiring harness connection from the EBCM with the ignition switch in the ON position.

1. Turn OFF the ignition.




2. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) from the frame.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
4. Remove the 4 BPMV bracket to frame mounting bolts (2).
5. Remove the BPMV mounting bracket (1) from the frame.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the BPMV mounting bracket (1) to the frame.
2. Install the 4 BPMV mounting nuts (2).

Tighten the BPMV bracket mounting nuts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

3. Install the brake pressure modulator valve to the BPMV bracket.
