The information shown in Section 1B (Air Conditioning) of the 1986-1987 Camaro Service Manuals (ST 368-86 and ST 368-87) should be updated as follows:
1986-1987 Camaros may require a longer Schrader Valve Core Removal Tool (J-34611 or equivalent) to remove the Schrader Valve Core.
These models, with the larger Schrader Valve Core, will also require A/C Hose Adapter Tool, J-25498-A or equivalent for charging and discharging the air conditioning system.

INSTALLATION
Step 1. Drill a 13/32 in. hole in the A/C compressor bracket as shown in the drawing.
SUPPORT BRACE LOCATION:
Step 2. Remove bolt from water pump at the 2 o'clock position and install stud P/N 14057002 (3/8 - 16)
Step 3. Attach support brace P/N 10055819 to A/C compressor bracket using bolt P/N 9440169 (3/8 - 16)
Step 4. Attach other end of support brace to stud on water pump using nut P/N 14057004 (3/8 - 16)
