Some comments have been made that the roof drip molding retainer cracks or breaks on some vehicles assembled between January 1, 1987 and May 15, 1987.

This condition was repaired in production effective May 15, 1987 at the assembly plants by using an alternate material. Service repair consists of replacing the cracked/broken retainer with a revised molding retainer from service (GMSPO).
