Radiator: Service and Repair
RADIATORREMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Battery negative cable.
2. Radiator cap.
3. Drain cooling system.
4. Air cleaner and intake duct assembly.
5. Mass Air Flow (M.A.F.) sensor electrical connector.
6. Upper hose clamp and hose.
7. Lower hose clamp and hose.
8. Overflow hose at radiator.
9. Engine cooling fan upper screws at shroud.
10. Engine cooling fan upper screws at shroud.
11. Automatic transmission oil cooler line.
12. Wire harness and relay from shroud and move aside.
13. P/S reservoir bracket bolts at shroud and frame.
14. Shroud screws and shroud.
15. Radiator.
INSTALL OR DISCONNECT
1. Radiator.
2. Shroud screws and shroud.
3. P/S reservoir bracket bolts at shroud and frame.
4. Wire harness and relay onto shroud.
5. Automatic transmission oil cooler line.
6. A/C accumulator bracket on shroud and screws.
7. Engine cooling fan upper screws at shroud.
8. Overflow hose at radiator.
9. Lower hose clamp and hose.
10. Upper hose clamp and hose.
11. Air cleaner and intake duct assembly.
12. Mass Air Flow (M.A.F.) sensor electrical connector.
13. Fill cooling system.
14. With radiator cap removed, start and run engine until radiator upper hose becomes hot.
15. With engine idling, add coolant to radiator until level reaches bottom of filler neck.
16. Radiator cap, making sure arrows line up with overflow tube.
17. Check for leaks.
