ENGINE ASSEMBLY (TOP)

Remove

1. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
2. Battery cables.
3. Hood.
4. Necessary electrical wiring.
5. Throttle, T.V., and cruise control cables.
6. Fuel lines.

Note: Relieve fuel line presaure.

7. A.I.R. belt
8. Serpentine belt.
9. Radiator hoses.
10. A/C mounting bolts at frost mounting bracket.
11. Power steering pump and set aside.
12. Heater hoses at engine.
13. Brake booster vacuum supply line.
14. EGR at exhaust.
15. Raise vehicle.
16. A/C compressor from engine.
17. Flywheel cover.
18. Starter.
19. Torque converter bolts.
20. Transaxle bracket.
21. Engine front mount retaining nuts.
22. Exhaust pipe at crossover.
23. Lower vehicle.
24. Torque struts.
25. Coolant recovery bottle.
26. Left crossover pipe to manifold clamp.
27. Pull engine assembly forward and support.
28. Bulkhead connector.
29. Right crossover pipe to manifold clamp.
30. Remove engine support and allow engine to move to normal position.
31. Support transaxle.
32. Transaxle bolts
33. Attach lifting device.
34. Engine assembly.

Install

1. Engine assembly
2. Remove lifting device.
3. Transaxle bolts
4. Remove transaxle support.
5. Pull engine assembly forward and support.
6. Right crossover pipe to manifold clamp.
7. Bulkhead connector.
8. Remove engine support and allow engine to roll to normal position.
9. Left crossover pipe to manifold clamp.
10. Coolant recovery bottle.
11. Torque struts.
12. Raise vehicle.
13. Eshaust pipe to crossover.
14. Engine front mount retaining nuts.
15. Transaele bracket.
16. Torque converter bolts.
17. Starter.
18. Flywheel cover.
19. A/C compressor to engine.
20. Lower vehicle.
21. EGR to exhaust.
22. Brake booster vacuum supply line.
23. Heater hoses to engine.
24. Power steering pump.
25. A/C mounting bolts to front mounting bracket.
26. Radiator hoses.
27. Serpentine belt.
28. A.I.R. belt.
29. Fuel lines.
30. Throttle, T.V., and cruise control cables.
31. Necesaary electrical wiring.
32. Hood.
33. Battery cable.
34. GAir cleaner and duct assembly.


- Inspect
- Proper fluid levels
- Leaks
- Completion of repair
