Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

CONDENSER

Condenser Mounting:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Recover refrigerant.
2. Radiator. Service and Repair
3. A/C line at condenser.
4. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
5. Pull loose the bottom A/C line at condenser.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Condenser.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Condenser.
2. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
3. New O-ring seals on hose and pipe fittings coated with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
4. A/C evaporator to condenser line.

TIGHTEN
^ Fitting to 24 Nm (18 lb. ft.).

5. Lower vehicle.
6. A/C compressor to condenser line.

TIGHTEN
^ Fitting to 24 Nm (18 lb. ft.).

7. Radiator.
8. Evacuate, charge and leak test system.
