S. Main Drive Gear Assemble

- Hydraulic Press
- J 22912-01 Bearing And Gear Puller
- J 6133-01 Installer





1. Install the bearing on the main drive gear. Use the J 22912-01, the J 6133-01, and a hydraulic press.





2. Coat the roller bearings and the drive gear bearing bore with chassis grease. Use GM P/N 1052497 or equivalent.





3. Install the roller bearings into the bore of the drive gear.





4. Install the thrust bearing and the thrust bearing race into the drive gear.
