T. Transmission Case Assemble

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

^ Tools Required
- J 8092 Drive Handle
- J 22912-01 Bearing and Gear Installer
- J 37357 Countershaft Bearing and Race Remover and Installer





1. Install the countershaft front bearing onto the countershaft. Use the J 8092, the J 22912-01, the J 37357, and a hydraulic press.





2. Lubricate the O-ring with Dexron(R) III.
3. Install a new O-ring onto the countershaft front bearing race.





4. Install the countershaft front bearing race into the transmission case. Use J 37357, the J 8092, and a hydraulic press.
