Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Use a blunt tool in order to unsnap the dimmer switch (1) from the trim plate.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the dimmer (1).
4. Remove the switch (1).
5. Twist the socket and bulb assembly to remove, if applicable.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector to the dimmer switch (1).
2. Install the new bulb and socket assembly, if applicable.
3. Install the dimmer switch (1) into the trim plate.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
