Mirror Replacement - Remote

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Align the notch in the outside rear view mirror remote control bezel (1) with the tab in the hole at the front of the armrest.
3. Push on the base of the outside rear view mirror remote control bezel in order to remove the bezel from the door trim panel.




4. Remove the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3) from the door.
5. Remove the outside rear view mirror nuts (2) from the mirror.
6. Remove the outside rear view mirror (1) from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the outside rear view mirror (1) to the door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the outside rear view mirror nuts (2) to the mirror.
3. Tighten the outside rear view mirror nuts in the following order:
3.1. Top
3.2. Forward
3.3. Rear

Tighten
Tighten the outside rear view mirror nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




4. Install the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3) to the door.




5. Align the notch in the outside rear view mirror remote control bezel (1) with the tab in the hole at the front of the armrest.
6. Push on the outside rear view mirror remote control bezel (1) in order to secure the bezel to the trim panel.
7. Install the front door trim panel.
