Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel sender assembly.
2. Remove the fuel pressure regulator retaining clip (2).
3. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (3) from the housing on the fuel return pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Lubricate the new fuel pressure regulator large and small O-rings with clean engine oil.
2. Install the new fuel pressure regulator large and small O-rings on the fuel pressure regulator.
3. Install the new fuel pressure regulator filter screen.
4. Install the fuel pressure regulator (3) into the housing on the fuel return pipe.
5. Install the new fuel pressure regulator retaining clip (2).
6. Install the fuel sender assembly.
