Gear Select/Skip Shift Solenoid Replacement

Tools Required
^ J41099 Gear Select/Reverse Lockout Solenoid Socket

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting .





2. Disconnect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.





3. Using the J41099, remove the gear select solenoid.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Using the J41099, install the gear select (skip shift) solenoid.
Tighten the gear select solenoid to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).





2. Connect the gear select solenoid electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
