Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement




Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (V8)

Removal Procedure

1. Place drain pans under the vehicle.





2. Loosen the hose clamp (4) and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (3) from the power steering fluid reservoir (5).

Plug the power steering fluid reservoir.

3. Loosen the hose clamp (1) and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump (2).

Plug the power steering pump.

4. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the hose clamps on the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (3).

2. Position the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose in the vehicle.

3. Remove the plug from the power steering pump (2).

4. Connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the power steering pump. Secure the hose with the clamp (1).

5. Remove the plug from the power steering fluid reservoir (5).

6. Connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the power steering fluid reservoir. Secure the hose with the clamp (4).

7. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding Service and Repair.

8. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.

9. Remove the drain pans.
