Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement


Removal Procedure

Warning:Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

Warning:Refer to Brake Dust Warning .
Danger:To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
1.Remove the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .





Note:Depress the splash guard clips (1) to disengage the splash guard (2) from the wheelhouse (3).

2.Remove the splash guard (2) from the wheelhouse (3).

Installation Procedure

Danger:To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
Note:Make sure the splash guard clips (1) are correctly engaged with the wheelhouse (3) to prevent an induced rattle condition.

1.Install the splash guard (2) to the wheelhouse (3).

2.Install the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
