9003/9004 - Power Top Control Module EEPROM Error:

WHEN MONITORED
Continuous with the ignition on.

SET CONDITION
An attempt to program/write to the internal EEPROM failed.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Power top control module

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST

1. POWER TOP CONTROL MODULE (PTCM)





NOTE: This DTC indicates an internal PTCM fault.

With the DRB III(R), read and record the PTCM DTCs and then erase the PTCM DTCs
Perform 3 ignition key cycles, leaving the ignition key on for a minimum of 30 seconds per cycle.
With the DRB III(R) , read the PTCM DTCs.

Q: Did this DTC set again?

YES: Replace the Power Top Control Module.
Perform POWER TOP CONTROL MODULE VERIFICATION TEST. Power Top Verification Test Power Top Verification Test
NO: The condition that caused this DTC to set is currently not present.
