Brake Caliper: Service Precautions

CAUTION: Excessive vise pressure can cause distortion of the caliper mounting bosses, this can affect the alignment of the caliper assembly with the braking disc. When clamping the disc brake caliper assembly in a vise, protective caps should be used on the jaws of the vise.
