Heater Control Valve: Service and Repair

NOTE: The water valve is located on the toe box between the inlet and outlet heater hoses.

REMOVAL
1. Drain engine cooling system.
2. Locate and loosen clamps at water control valve.
3. Disconnect the heater control cable and heater hoses from water control valve (mark the heater hoses to assure correct valve installation).
4. Remove water valve mounting bolts.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures. Refer to Temperature Control Cable for cable adjustment procedure.
