REAR AXLE - 226RIA STANDARD PROCEDUREDRAIN AND REFILL
1. Drive the vehicle until the differential lubricant is at the normal operating temperature.
2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
3. Remove differential fill plug,
4. Install a fluid transfer suction pump into the rear axle fill hole. Remove the axle lubricant from the axle assembly completely.
5. Fill rear axle with 0.12 Liter (4 ounces) of Mopar Limited Slip Additive and 1.21 L (41 ounces) Mopar Synthetic Gear & Axle Lubricant or equivalent.
6. Install differential fill plug and tighten to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
