Fast Idle Cam Position

Fig. 5 Fast idle cam position adjustment:

1. With fast idle adjusting screw contacting second highest step on fast idlecam, move choke valve toward closed position with light pressure on chokeshaft lever.
2. Insert the specified size drill between choke valve and air horn wall, (C) Fig. 5. An adjustment will be necessary if a slight drag is not obtained as drill is being removed.
3. Adjust by bending fast idle connector rod, (D) Fig. 5, at lower angle.
