Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Camshaft Sprocket Bolt Removal & Installation:

1. Remove timing belt, refer to TIMING BELT.
2. Using tool No. Mot. 855 or equivalent to hold camshaft sprocket in position, remove camshaft sprocket attaching bolt, Fig. 1.
3. Remove camshaft sprocket from camshaft.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque camshaft sprocket attaching bolt to torque listed at the end of this section.
