FIGURE 21:

1. Make sure that the centering stud (R) is in place (Figure 21).
2. Position the instrument panel on the centering stud (R) and install it (Figure 21).

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL NOT TO JAM THE WIRING HARNESSES AND ROUTE THE AS THEY WERE ROUTED INITIALLY.

3. Reconnect all connectors and ground connections.

4. With the ignition off, reconnect the battery.

5. Check that all components are working properly.

NOTE: IF THE STEERING WHEEL IS TOO CLOSE TO THE HALF-SHELLS, ADJUST THE POSITION OF THE STEERING COLUMN UNIVERSAL JOINT.
