Preliminary Diagnosis

If one or all of the lights on the control panel are flashing, check the compressor circuit as shown below in Step 5, check the system charge. Disconnect the battery for at least 15 seconds. Connect the battery. The system should reinitialize and default to the defrost mode. Wait 15 seconds and change to any other mode. This will reset the module in the control panel. If this procedure does not correct the problem, proceed to the electrical checks.

Visually inspect the system for loose connectors, a damaged harness or pinched wires and repair any problems found.
