SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Actuation of either the driver or the passenger power seat causes the semi-automatic climate control display to flash "88" and then go to either the off mode or return to the previously set mode of the system. The system may go to the default settings when turned back on.
PARTS REQUIRED
1 Jumper Wire (with capacitor) PN 4604149
REPAIR PROCEDURE
This repair consists of installing the PN 4604149 jumper wire which has an integral .22 microfarad capacitor to reduce the voltage spike coming from the power seat motors.
1. Move the driver's seat to the full forward position.

2. From behind the seat, unhook the power seat motor wire connector. See Figure 1.
3. Install the PN 4604149 jumper between the connectors.
