Crankshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor sends an A/C voltage signal to the Ignition Control Module (ICM).

The CKP sensor is used by the ICM for crankshaft position and engine speed.
