Fig. 7 Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector, then remove wiper motor to dash panel attaching bolts, Fig. 7.
3. Remove mounting plate attaching screws and pull plate away from dash panel.
4. Using suitable tool, pry linkage pivot from motor output arm, then remove wiper motor from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring ground wire is securely fastened to left upper attaching bolt of motor.
