Rear
ROTORS - are:^ solid, full-cast.
^ a full-cast design.
^ attached to the axle shaft flange.
CALIPERS
^ are hydraulically activated.
^ are a pin-slider type housing.
^ have a single rear disc brake piston and adjuster.
^ have a rear disc support bracket.
^ have two lubricated disc brake caliper locating pins positioning the rear disc brake caliper relative to the rear disc support bracket.
^ have rubber slide pin boot seals that prevent lubricant washout and pin corrosion.
BRAKE SHOE AND LINING
^ are held in place by the rear disc brake caliper housing and the rear disc support bracket.
^ are interchangeable.
ANTI-RATTLE CLIP
^ is positioned between the rear disc support bracket rail and the inner and outer rear brake shoe and lining to prevent brake shoe and lining rattle.
^ is common for LH and RH.
SUPPORT BRACKET
^ transmits braking torque from the inner and outer rear brake shoe and lining to the brake adapter.
^ are designated LH and RH.
ADAPTER
^ supports the rear disc support bracket.
^ transmits braking torque to the axle tube.
^ are identified as LH and RH.
PARKING BRAKE
^ is an integral mechanically (cable) operated parking brake mechanism.
^ a cable-actuated lever on back of the caliper activates the park brake mechanism.
^ The parking brake mechanism in the caliper is self-adjusting.
