Compressor Relief Valve

REMOVAL
1. Discharge refrigerant from system. Observe all safety precautions. Discharging and Recovery
2. Unfasten two latches on engine air tray to Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
3. Loosen engine air cleaner tube clamp.
4. Separate mass air flow sensor from engine air tray and move mass air flow sensor out of the way.
5. Remove A/C pressure relief valve deflector from A/C compressor relief valve.
6. Remove A/C compressor relief valve from A/C manifold and tube.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Use new O-ring seal lubricated with clean Motorcraft YN-12b refrigerant oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
