Shifter A/T: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.





2. Remove the upper steering column shroud.
3. Remove the transmission range selector lever.





1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove and discard the selector lever pin.
3 Remove the selector lever.

Installation

1. Note: The selector lever pin must be replaced whenever removed.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
