Supercharger Belt

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt- 5.4L (4V) Accessory Drive Belt.

2. Rotate the Supercharger (SC) belt tensioner clockwise and remove the SC (Supercharger) belt from the SC (Supercharger) pulley.

3. NOTE: The SC (Supercharger) belt is routed behind the SC (Supercharger) belt tensioner.
Remove the SC (Supercharger) belt tensioner bolt, the tensioner and the SC (Supercharger) belt.

- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).


4. NOTE: For additional information, refer to Accessory Drive Description and Operation in Description and Operation for correct drive belt routing.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
