Fig. 8 Tension Rod & Stabilizer Bar Replacement:

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove stabilizer bar to tension rod bracket and insulator attaching nuts and bolts, if equipped.
3. Remove tension rod to body attaching nut and washer.
4. Remove tension rod to control arm attaching nuts and bolts and the tension rod, Fig. 8.
5. Reverse procedure to install, using new self-locking nut.
