Function Control Switch

1. Remove function control to gain access to switch terminals, Fig. 25.
2. Connect ohmmeter between switch terminals a and b and operate control in all positions. Approximate resistance values for each control position are as follows:
VENT 0 ohms
HI-LO 1000 ohms
HEAT 2000 ohms
H/DEF 3000 ohms
DEF 4000 ohms
3. Connect ohmmeter between switch terminal e and g, and operate recirculation button.
4. Meter should indicate continuity when button is pressed and no continuity when button is released.
5. Connect ohmmeter between switch terminal e and f, and operate recirculation button.
6. Meter should indicate continuity when button is released and no continuity when button is pressed.
