Headlamp Installation

20. Install the new headlamp switch assembly. Install the pigtail harness leading to the headlamp switch between the multifunction switch main body and the steering column bracket.

21. Install the three screws securing the multifunction switch main body to the steering column bracket.

22. Install the two black screws securing the headlamp switch assembly to the multifunction switch main body.

23. Install the replacement tie wrap provided to secure the column harnesses to the multifunction switch main body.

24. Install electrical tape to secure the column harnesses together.

25. Install the tie-wrap (removed in step 6) to secure the column harnesses to the crash pad support.

26. Connect connector M10-1.

27. Install the upper and lower steering column shrouds.

28. Install the lower shroud cover with the four 10 mm bolts.

29. Test headlamp operation (Low and High Beam).





30. Place a punch mark above the last (17th) digit of the vehicle identification number, located on the certification plate on the B pillar.
