Rear Bumper: Service and Repair

Rear Bumper:

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION




1. Remove the trunk mat and the rear transverse trim.




2. Remove the luggage rear trim, luggage side trim and rear combination lamp.




3. Remove the mounting bolts from the rear bumper upper inside of the luggage Compartment.




4. Remove the lower mounting retainer from the rear bumper.




5. Remove the mounting retainer from the rear bumper upper side.




6. Remove the mounting bolts from the rear bumper stay.

Tightening torque
Rear bumper mounting bolts: 3.5 - 5.5 kg.m (25.4 - 40 lb.ft)

7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
