Evaporative & ORVR Emission Control System

1. Prepare a voltmeter and connect it to Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTP) pins as shown.




2. After 20 min. idling inspect the voltage.

System voltage 5 V
At acceleration Max. 4.5, Min. 0.5V

3. At idle, inspect that voltage fluctuates to accelerate rpm up and down.

NOTE: If voltage is not within spec.as procedures, there is leakage and inspect the fuel tank and hoses toward canister and fuel neck. Then repair or replace relevant parts.
