SERVICE INFORMATION

On some 1990 M30 vehicles, a near total loss of radio volume condition may develop during radio operation. This loss of volume occurs in all (AM, FM and cassette) modes. At that time, the radio display is visible, and all other controls are operational, but radio volume is very low, even when the knob is turned to the full volume position.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

On vehicles with radios exhibiting the condition described above, remove the entire radio unit from the vehicle, and replace using the exchange procedure established with Clarion Corporation of America (C.C.A.).
