SERVICE INFORMATION:

On some 1990 M30 vehicles, the trunk lamp switch may not function properly. The following conditions may result from this incident:


^ Trunk light stays on after trunk is closed. Battery is drained and vehicle won't start.

^ Alarm system will not arm. Security light blinks continuously.


SERVICE PROCEDURE

Verify operation of trunk lamp switch. Remove and replace switch if found to be bad.
