TITLE: Cassette Radio/Lockout Code

SERVICE TIP:

The standard base radio in the Sedona LX model is a 1 DIN size radio with cassette (P/N 0K52Y 66 860).

This radio has a digital lockout code system. To unlock the radio, a universal code of 1111 must be used. In some cases, the radio might not accept the code and therefore not unlock.

For radios that exhibit this condition, the radio must be replaced. The probable cause for this condition is internal damage as a result of the vehicle being jump-started due to a dead battery.






If a Sedona with the 1 DIN radio requires a jump-start due to a dead battery, de-energize the fuse circuits shown.
