Bulletin # W88-012

Section: Warranty

Dated: 11/28/88

Subject:
EMERGENCY REPAIR REIMBURSEMENT

To: ALL RANGE ROVER DEALERS

Claims for emergency repair reimbursement will be considered if:

^ It was impossible or unreasonable to deliver the vehicle to an authorized Range Rover Dealership.

^ A written statement explaining the circumstances along with receipts, detailed repair invoices and any replaced part is presented to the Range Rover Dealer.

This provision applies to vehicle breakdown situations or other manufacturing defects which make the vehicle not safe to operate. Ask your Zone Manager to review the facts in each case and decide if reimbursement to the owner is in order.

The customer's paid invoice should be attached to the warranty repair order.

The warranty repair order should explain the reason for reimbursement, the amount and the check number.

First, ask your Zone Manager to review the facts and issue an authorization.

Then, enter your claim as follows:

^ Select the appropriate repair code or failure code that most closely identifies the nature of the failure.

^ Do Not use a Labor Operation Number.

^ Enter the amount of the authorized reimbursement in the Sublet Labor Column.

^ Enter the Zone Manager's authorization number.

^ Indicate on the Dealer Comment Line "Sublet Emergency Repair" and customer reimbursement check number.

Be sure to retain a copy of the customer's receipts, etc. with your warranty repair order.
